Q & A a day 5 year journal and 712 more things to write about book review
Book review:
Since the new year started I have been wanting to try some journal style books, and I have been trying out some pretty popular ones. So far I really like them because they help my get my creativity going as well as make me think a lot.
To begin with I wanted to talk about Q and A a day a 5 year journal. At first I thought the book would only ask easy questions like what is your favorite color but I have found that it asks some pretty thought provoking questions. Just on the first page I had to sit back and think for a while to get my answer. The next thing I want to talk about is the packaging. It is small so it first perfectly in a purse. The great thing about it is that it is a lot easier to keep than a journal as you only have to answer one quick question every day. The purpose of the book is to see how much you change over 5 years , which is probably a lot.
Next I want to talk about 712 more things to write about. This book is kind of a sequel to the wildly popular first book called 642 things to write about. Essentially this book gives you writing prompts to get your creative juices flowing. The great thing about it is that most of the prompts ask things that you would have never thought of. I do have to say that the book sometimes has kind of weird questions that you don't even know how to answer. Overall I think this book is great if you like to write and for when you have writers block.
